Even the small version is like 20 lines of text high. Can't you make it more rectangular instead of square? Smile

Does anyone know the definition of "Signature"? Your damn sig isnt supposed to be 10 times longer than your posts FFS.

Pics and sigs are fine, in moderation. I quote from the Rules/FAQ thread:

Signature Image Size - Please keep them small as signature images should be. In other words it shouldnt be bigger than a few lines of text, or so wide that it stretches the forum page beyond its normal bounds. Just keep in mind that by definition a "signature" is a small signoff message. Anything larger than 3-4 lines of text stops becoming a sig and turns into "that big picture at the end of the post". Please also make sure that your signature image, if animated, is not over approximately 250K. This is to ensure that the modem users (yes, everyone doesn't have broadband) don't have any problems.

It wouldn't even be a problem if it was one or two persons that had largish signatures, but when I get PMs from 56K users complaining that they cant even open certain threads because of all the sig pictures, it gets a bit out of hand Smile

I have 56k too so I know what I'm talking about Smile

I think I am advertising Ren Evo enough in my signature anyway without massive pictures. Links are just plain and simple and give you a shortcut to useful information (in my signature anyway). I think avatars would be a good idea but I think you should be allowed an avatar or a signature image. Just my opinion.

Its also 2 seperate image files. So everytime someone opens a thread with that sig in it, your site gets 2 hits.
