Installed Renguard and Renegade Freezes ! [message #147093]

Recruit

I'm having a problem that when I try to log onto WOL renegade freezes and I have to disconnect my power to cut my computer off. I can log onto renguard fine and it starts up Renegade and I click Multiplayer and WOL,it works fine but when I click Advanced Game Listings it freezes.

Anyone know why or how to fix this? I searched other topics but couldn't find this problem.

RenGuard does not modifiy your game in any way.

Core Patch 1 does, though.

Just as a precautionary step, be aware that if you have any ,pkg files that it will freeze Renegade when you try to log into the advanced listings. It will eventually unfreeze, but the more .pkg files you have, and the larger they are, the longer the game will stall.

I have no .PKG files in my data folder and I already had CP1 and Renegade worked fine until I reinstalled Renguard. I had it before and it worked fine so my logon name was automatically recognized but it froze the very first time that I replayed Renegade with Renguard installed.
