Was bored and made my first building for cs:s, mostly made for private use now since some e-mailing between me and EA stopped the project I was thinking on. Guess what building it is Wink

Have been talking to EA about this and they say I cant use their textures and I can understand that and also they got copyright on the map build structures so makeing a 100% copy of the renegade map is a violation to the copyright....

Added 3 more pictures of the exterior of the building and as you can see Im not done working on the exterior.

Makeing own textures will take alot time and its not worth it either since it never be the same as in the textures from westwood. Think im gonna scrap the idé of makeing a level from renegade to cs:s. Sad

I wouldn't think it would violate anything ONLY BECAUSE the texture files, etc. are all put up for the PUBLIC to download. Besides, I don't think they'd care...compared to what's out now, the Renegade Engine is Pong.

I can understand that they don't want their stuff to be used on a different game. But not allowing to remake everything to look like renegade on a different game... That's just something retarted.

Try re-reading what I said. If you could shape the top of the barracks fine, then you shouldn't have problems doing the end. Therefore, it was half-assed.

I can't. I did a clean install of XP Pro with SP2 already slipstreamed onto it. Plus, SP2 works fine for me apart for some applications not working (including Renegade.)

Nah it's not to do with network connections. It's to do with graphics and drivers and that crap. Too bad I can't put my finger on it right now and fix it. Renegade doesn't even get to the main menu when it freezes up.
