Log onto WOL once with game2.exe first. Then exit and use game.exe normally.

I logged in WOL with game2.exe and exit enter again in the game with renegade.exe this problem repeat.

Try game.exe instead of renegade.exe.

If you have Norton Internet Utilities : This generally gives alot of problems
with RenGuard when running in the background. Disable it while your going
to play Renegade.

1 - You must login with your Renegade nickname on WOL at least ONCE after installing RenGuard and then restart it.

2 - If you are not a WOL player but use ASE/GSA or whatever:
- Goto the options of this program and make sure that you point it
to "Game.exe" and not "Renegade.exe"

Its possible that the program your using is not passing the nickname correctly
to the RenGuard client, check the RenGuard window & make sure before
hitting "Renegade" that you are being greeted simular to (example):

[03] Trying to connect to server #1...Connected
[03] Secure link established.
[03] Welcome to RenGuard , FMzunnie!
[03] To launch Renegade, please click 'Renegade'.
[03] WARNING: Model Textures (Skins) have been detected on your client! You will not be able to join a pure server.

Notice: Its just a 'warning' that you have skins installed (dds/tga) which are
ALLOWED on roughly 99.98% of all servers out there..
