...my Ren disk died. Cracked straight from the inner rim to the outer. Figures it would do that right when I'm starting to get back into the game again, but that's just luck being a bitch again. Time for a trip over to the nearest bargain bin. At least it didn't explode- I would have pulled my hair out if I'd have tried to boot up Ren and found a wrecked DVD-RW drive with disk bits embedded in its innards.

Ugh. Couldn't have come at a worse time. I need those few extra bucks to buy myself a new joystick... Mad [/rant]

Lucky! My DVD-RW drive got toatally ruined because of the stupid renegade CD. It blew up into about 100 pieces and it even got into parts of my motherboard, took me about 2 days to clean it all.

PS- get the no cd crack if you already have the game installed.
PSS- if you don't have it installed I.M. me at pprrooxx on AIM. I'll hook you up with the .BIN

ya for real any game that requires you to spin the disc while you play is dangerous

you should get a no-cd crack or alcohol 120%

put the disc away and never use it again! lol

I use No-CD cracks for almost every game I can. They help the game load faster because CD checks are bypassed, and it makes less noise, etc.

The disk explosion link was created during a time when there were up to 10 posts per day about people losing their CD to "explosions".

RenGuard works with the no-CD crack on the same website: http://www.beaconpedestal.com/nocd/djlaptop_renegade_1037_nocd.exe
