Yes, there are free servers. Host your own server from your computer. The only bad side is that you'll have to upgrade to a nice big connection ( > 2M at least for decent servers), and you'd have to leave your computer for a long time, you wouldnt be able to use it for anything else. Or your internet connection for that matter... unless you want to lag it all out ^_^

I have a ... high speed DSL connection.
My connection is 3.0MB/800Kb up/down respectively. With that I can do up to 14.
|
You must be paying through your nose to get that much upload bandwidth on your DSL line...

First thing you need to do is find the seach button on your browser,then type in multiplayer internet servers,then spend a couple of hours sorting the 15,000 pages there for the best price and your set =)
