I have finally set up the new FDS and BrenBot v1.41. I am setting up a 6 player server called the ~/~D5CS Mini AOW Server~/~
I would make this server bigger for like 32 players but as indeed i would need donations to get it up to that size. So until my dream of having a 32player server comes true it will be a 6 player mini server featuring tons of new maps.

Don't even think about asking for donations before you get an established community.

Good luck getting donations... Like Scamp said, unless you have a community and are willing to put lots of time into it its not worth it. Those big communities you see started off as a single or small group of people paying the expenses themselves. Later as people prefer playing on their servers, they recieve donations.
You can't start a community out of such a small server.
Plus there are lots of large, empty servers that nobody plays on.
