It's not going to do it alone, but Canada does plan to utilize more water and wind energy.

I'm guessing quite a few countries will impose some kind of benifit for buying hybrid vehicles too.

Theres a benefit for buying hybrid vehicles in California already. You can drive in carpool lanes with only one passenger, and some other highway benefits.

Planning is one thing, doing it is another.

Im not all in for driving the rice-burners, but if they are all for cleaning things up then thats cool. Dont expect me to give up my baby for anything as such though. Is the US included? because They made it sound like we arent. Ya but anyway, my Grand Prix is the only possesion I own, and Im pround of it because its immaculate and by buying that instead of a Honda I put a meal on the table of an american. Smile

What's the point in it though? Some key countries who aren't prepared to put the funds in to stop all the greenhouse emissions (Methinks we all know who I mean) aren't in it.

What is the point of reducing emissions in other countries when some countries just have rises, rises and rises?

You can't expect him to know that. Let him live in the delusion that all the things he buys in America are made in America.

Because those responsible for 55% of global emmisions are participating. And thats worth it. There are benefits to all this too besides saving the environment.
