I haven't been updated awhile. I use to play back in 2002 I think and I bought the C&C Collection two days ago. And seeing all the change, like the crates and CTF. Who has access to porting Updates to be installed on WOL? Are some of the BlackHand Studios, former Westwood workers? Sorry if I sound dumb...

Technically EA studios run and own the game but Blackhand studios does alot of patches, anti-cheats, and modifications to help the game and it players.

Yea them too. Westwood had always wanted their fans to participate in their games not just by playing but by making mods etc.
Nobody "runs" Renegade so much anymore. Seeing as there isn't much to run. Fans make maps for other fans, others make addons and EA keeps WOL up. No seemingly central authority, but we keep things working.

Renegade is prety much ran by the fans nowadays! EA just Keeps WOL up and they havnt done shit since January of 2003 when WW released its last patch before being bought out by EA!
