I can't beleive this. My favorite game turning to dust. Out of all the games I have played on WOL I had noticed something. Every game I played I noticed atleast one person that had atleast 40-100 more kills than anyone on the server. Aimbots, Bighead, Nemesis, all these are hacks that have obviously got around renguard. So many people complain about cheaters. Every game i play theirs atleast one person with a abnormally high amount of kills. And people with the c130 drop editor. WARNING TO THOSE OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW ABOUT THIS MOD: This mod allows the host of the game to choose any vehicle or weapon in the game and drop it after you buy a vehicle. This works only for nod. So that means they can be getting FREE tanks and SECONDARY guns. Think about all of what i have said. We need to do something about this. And for all the cheaters who view this post:
If you suck, cheating wont make you better, it makes you a fake gamer, hated by people and even worse, SCREWED UP!

Where the HELL have you been? Have you had your head in the sand?
A. If you don't want cheaters, use RenGuard. It blocks ALL Renegade cheats.
B. The C130 drop mod has been around since the demo of Renegade came out 3 years ago.

Actually I have found one cheat that claims not to be blocked by renguard that I intend to send to Crimson tonight. I havn't even unzipped it once so I don't know what the contents are.

Because the one thing I hate most in the world is damn cheaters. I got pissed off and searched for this cheat and after hours of searching I found it. I'm just going to send it to crimson now.

I heard of a few cheat communities that also claim to have bypassed RenGuard. Sucks really, they are always going to find a way around or an exploit.

Alot if claims are lies or missinformation.
Examples:
A few moths ago some guy made a object.ddb file that can he claimed can be used to cheat renguard, lol it was detected by rg and you are kicked out in seconds of using it. Tatal bull....
There was a guy that said he found a way to get around renguard and play in rg servers without using renguard and what do you think it was? He was playing in 1/2 guarded servers that you don't need rg to play on.
I see ppl that one day say that rg is a joke to bypass and they can do it easy, then a few weeks later they say that they can't realy do but they know how then a few weeks later it's back to thy can't do it at all... Make up your mind and stick to it.
And there are still ppl talking about exploits that were fixed months and months ago.

and have kick-banned me for it twice.

C130 Drop mod works for everyone on a server, so its no real cheat.
ghostSWT, You hit the nail on the head!
RG blocks types of cheats not individual cheats. If there is a *.w3d file that shouldn't be in the data folder, you can't play. If there is something out of place with Always.dat, objects.ddb or any sort of trainer, it can all be detected. The only way you will be able to cheat is if you find some kind of bug or find a completely new way to cheat. Nobody is that desparate.

It's to the cheaters' advantage to boast and brag that they bypassed RenGuard even if they haven't. It's their job to keep people off of it by casting uncertainty as to its effectiveness.
I won't say it's unbypassable. I will say that MANY people are lying, flat out, about being able to. RenGuard protects you from 99% of potetial cheaters, while NOT running it protects you from 0%.
Furthermore, we have had 2,586,796 player logins to RenGuard since its inception. I bet none of those cheats can claim they've been used that many times.

even if 1% of cheaters manage to get through, and I really don't think it's anywhere near that many, just play in a server with good moderators

PistolServ is 1/2 RG i think. I cant remember.
When playing ren, it helps to use snipers in muti player pratic, it helps you accurecy. Play a sniper game once a week for a game or 2. This helps your aim.
Also, hosting small games and being in small games also help.

You can make c130 drop stuff in gdis base. But if your on gdi you just can't tell it when to. Just the matter of the right scripts. Most of them are ones where they work in some levels and not in others because they take a certain route... :bomb: :yell:
