Well, almost maybe not until March but having a "portable ps2" would be fun. Smile

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.

However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...

According to GameInformer:

Quote:

"...The inital reports on problems with the PSP are preadominately limited to a few things. A small number of consumers have found dead pixels or air bubbles on their screens, while the PSP in general contains a design flaw. By applying a twisting pressure when holding the unit, the UMD door clasp can release, causing the disk door to open unexpectedly..."

I personally dislike scratches, for they annoy the hell out of me, therefore I do not want to take my chances with bubbles or dead pixels. Also often I have applied twisting pressure to my NSP when playing games (Like when I get pissed playing). So that flaw is also going against me buying the system.

Don't forget its massive 3 hour battery life while playing games.

That's better than gamegear's 30 minute span on 6 AA batteries.

Don't forget, plugging it in negates the portability.

That doesnt negate the portability at all. How many people actually play a hand held while moving? Most people play them in places where there is an outlet available. Good Idea on Sony's part.

Yes it does. I'm sorry, if I have to hunt down an outlet to play it then its not portable. That short of a battery life makes it worthless to me. I'd rather go buy a batterypack for my Gamecube.

I've actually owned an N-gage & N-gageQD since mid Jan 2004 and I always play games on the bus. Recently, I have been playing Worms, Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, Tomb Raider, The Sims, Tiger Woods 2004, FIFA2005 & Asphalt Very Happy

Never get bored of them Razz

yes, but its not completely necesary to use the cable, the cable is purely if you want unlimited time to play, much like a laptop. As he stated before, the battery life is 3 hours, which isnt good, but its not completely horrible either considering it plays mp3s as well, and the graphics are of nothing Nintendo can even produce on there horrendous GameCube.(aside from MP2 and Resident Evil 4) Because we all know, Playstation 2 and Xbox Own the Gamecube and i think now PSP might even now own the GC lol. I have all three, i should know.

Nintendo puts out inexpensive hardware that appeals to younger and cheaper gamers. I mean look at the cost of the Gamecube.

Now as the PSP plays MP3's, whoopdie-frickin'-doo. My cell phone does that and does it well. If you look at the past handhelds, all have failed compared to the "Gameboy" line. Why? Batterylife. Batterylife is always what it boils down too, not graphics. I know we are now entering the re-chargable age, if you want to call it that. But seriously, do you want be attached to that cigarette lighter in your car on those long road trips?

Matters on the games it can play. I don't expect Doom 3 graphics on a PSP, but aren't those handheld games a little bit boring?

Wtf were you expecting? Sony sucks at making portable devices.

I mean, just look at "how strong" the PS2 is, you drop it off something and it's doomt.

That's because of its unpopularity.

your not supposed to drop your consoles. I have one of those tiny PS2's and they are great, alot better then my old PS2. My PS2 died after 2 years. And the GameCube is so unpopular because the games for it SUCK! thats why its not selling for anything.
