OK, I have a renguard dedi which I use for clan games. We played a few today and I disabled RG for one of the games because one of them can't get RG to work on his PC (supposedly).

Here's what happened. (MaidenTy1 is me)

Nobody reactivated Renguard, I was the only person in IRC. Everyone got kicked except for Ahteuhhhh, but most of us were logged onto Renguard anyway.

What version were you running?

The newer versions you can't turn off Renguard. Also you must make sure it's off in renguard.cfg aswell.

I don't know, I didn't install it myself. I've never had this issue before.

Turning RenGuard on/off in 1.35 definitally always required a restart ..

Since 1.40 supports half renguard mode, there is no need to turn it off anymore, but I orginally made it reconnect/disconnnect when needed
