So for the past few days there have been almost no good servers and so i have been reduced to watching Amercian Idol and now they have put me in an institution for the Reality TV Challenged people and I can't get out until :

1. Renegade is the most successful game on the planet.
2. Nobody is fighting on the forums
3. My husband stops bitching that there are no good servers up.
4. oh ya and someone teaches me how to play Ren, cook dinner and do the laundry at the same time.....

I was wondering where all the good servers had gone to, there's only The Pits now really..

I just been on Renegade and it seems "Afterfive (52 Players)" is back up.

There are several good servers left, the Pits, Swami's, and others. But I find them difficult to get into because they are full. Having large moderated servers is getting rare, but not totally gone.

If only I could use my work computer as a server, it could easiely run a 32 person game, but alas, the governement frowns on using government property like that Sad

i have noticed a lack of good servers in euros aswell

and there are these bunch of gay server which are up 24/7 but closed for clan games and i NEVER see any clans playin in them..they are on the same map for like 3 days in a row

would these clans open there server up for public use?

i find clan names soon Smile

Ive noticed loads of "SO and So's Clan Server!!" with a ping of 20 and 20 odd player slots. but there always fukin closed, why dont these jackasses open them up ffs. Mad

they 12/16 pleyr server great for 56ks

always closed ....i doubt they can even host 12 players...thats why they alwats shut

I host a 10 player sniper server. I don't get many complaints. A lot of times I can't even join it.

I ran into that problem too, a realy powerful NT server, with a dedicated T1 line, or was it T3? I can't remember, and the worst thing is, that is sits idle for 8 months of the year... Oh well.

Renegade like all games has a lifespan and might just be nearing the end even though we all do not wish it to be...

In the beginning it was all about the 32 person server (during the multiplayer beta and the first months of Renegade)

Now we have progressed back to these 32 servers....hmmm........ Sad

I fully agree, there are maybe 3 good servers on WOL Euro, let alone someone hosting Renegade Alert...
