I don't think much good is going to come by us shoving our religons down each other's throats, but I can't let some of da_shiz's comments stand without a counterpoint of some kind.

Mary wasn't perfect, she was given the ability to carry God's son. She is the SURROGATE mother, I doubt that there was any DNA that Mary gave to Jesus.

You pray to saints and Mary, and yet the Commandments say not to have any idols before Him. Yes, they were saved, but only to God shall you pray.

I don't pray to Mary instead of God. I ask for Mary's intervention when I pray. What's wrong with asking for a little extra help with my prayers?
