yeah but I only get software to make tabs using text, eg.

S|x---------------|x---------------|x---------------|x---------------||
B|--------x-------|----------x-----|-----------x----|----------------||
L|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------||
C|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------||
F|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------||
H|--------x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x|x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x----x-x-x-x-x-||
O|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------||
LH|----------------|----------------|----------------|---x-x----------||
R|----------------|----------------|----------------|----------------||

Which is pretty much useless to me because that ^^^ is not how drum music is presented.

I need software that will actually set the correct symbols on actual lines, not dashes etc.

I basically mean the end result should be like my pic in the first post.

My sister is a drummer (a very good one), I'll show her this later when she comes home. She might know a program.

Has she got any recordings of her playing? I would be interested to hear some drumming by somebody other than myself.

hm, I've heard of this before, I'm not a drummer (I wish I was Sad ). But I'm a bass player. I know some people who play the drumms. I'll also ask them.

I don't need to actually make the music I just need a program that will write down the tabs for me to save me doing it because I'm a lazy ass lol.

Thanks all. Smile

My advice, hand write it.

I use sibelius, got a copy from my school, it still is faster for me to hand write my music.

What kind of kit you playing on?

I'm on an old ludwig 4 piece with powerstroke 3's and Zildjian custom A's and K's.

TAMA Rockstar Fusion 22 kit
22" Bass drum
14" Metal Snare
10" tom
12" tom
14" tom
14" Zildjian ZXT Titanium Rock Hihats
16" Zildjian ZXT Titanium Rock Crash
20" Zildjian ZXT Titanium Rock Ride
10" Zildjian ZXT Titanium Rock Splash
18" Zildjian ZXT Titanium Total China (not shown, but it's in the post :D:D:D)
Pearl Export Double Bass Pedal. (£180 worth)

Very Happy Wonderful wonderful kit, worth £1300 atm Very Happy

I've been playing for 2 years now. I have got a recording of me drumming about a year ago, using my MP3 Player to record it. Which is why the quality is shite.

My sticks are AHEAD custom alloy sticks. £30 for the pair Very Happy, unbreakable sticks Very Happy

Please note my kit does't live in the living room, that just where I clean it occasionally. It actually lives in the junk room at the bck of the hosue but it would look rubbish on a picture in that room lol.

My plans to expand my kit are:
An 18" Zildjian ZXT Titanium medium Crash Ride
Some K Customs (not decided which ones yet, I'll have to sample them first)
An 8" Tom
A 16" Floor Tom
About 4 Cowbells
And finally a belt hihat stand with pedal on the left ut hihats in the middle-right kind of area (with K Custom hihats on).

The idea I had was to make a series of peices of sheet music to be put on a website along with files of my recorded drumming. And to do this I would want it to be professional you see, so making it on paint would take up too much time.

The amp on the left is a Pevey
Amp to Right is Fender
Guitar to right is Ibanez (Its name is vironica, vvvvv ironica Smile
And my computer to the far right.

Also if you notice the large pedal, that is the "BIG MUFF" Pedal, Jimi Hendrix used this pedal (not this exact one) for purple haze, this however is not a "new fangled" remake, this was produced in the same year as the one he used Smile

I'll post pics of my cabinet amp and bass later.

Yamaha guitars aren't too popular with people post-beginner level.

Kinda the same here.

My cousin got a guitar for his birthday but can't play/be bothered to play it.

So he gave it to me. A black "harmony" guitar strat copy but with a different head.

I wanna paint flames on it, restring it etc.

Then learn how to play it of course, but I'm concentrating on my drumming at the moment.

25 W amps are practice amps, they definately won't be any popular among people who gig.

I'm not a drummer (I wish I was Sad )

Take some lessons if you want to drum. I don't think it's that hard.

As long as you have half decent co-ordination you can do pretty decent beats.

And co-ordination improves as you go along too. I could never do some of the things I do now if I hadn't taken lessons.

As the saying goes "practice makes perfect". Smile

Well I play bass guitar for 3 years now. The point is that drumms take to much space, Which I don't have. So 3 years ago I started to play bass guitar. So, I stick with bass now Smile
