Multiple logins are allowed because there is no inherent security risk in it. You could log into RenGuard as "crimsson" and yet you wouldn't have any of my passwords or be able to play in WOL as me (unless you used RenIP)... there is no personally identifiable information available in RenGuard, especially when we're only using "username" to log in.
The true security of RenGuard is when you run a server that also uses RenGuard. Then the server software and the client software can run all the necessary checks to make sure you are logging into the server with the same IP and same computer as you are running RenGuard on. When all that checks out, you are "bound" to the server. You hear the "RenGuard" sound, and the locator will list which server you're in. Then, and only then, can we be the most secure that you aren't cheating.
I'm the bawss.
