Your no cd patch must be applied BEFORE installing RenGuard, like the Readme states.
To fix your problem, download game2.exe from http://download.renguard.com/rg_downloads/English_GameEXE.zip and place it as game2.exe in your renegade directory, where game.exe is RenGuard (which is about 350kb in size)

I tried it as well. There was no readme file in the zip file. Am not abled to get renguard to work. At one point even gotten a error 17 after redownloading renguard and core patches.
Going back to useing the CD.

Um... that link is the latest patch for the game. So when I rename it to game2.exe it doesn't start the game, just the update.
And I've installed Renguard after the no cd patch. But it says that there's something wrong with game2.exe(I'm guessing the program doesn't like the cracked .exe pretty much) . So... there's a no cd patch that actually works with Renguard? Or am I just out of luck?

You need to install Renegade 1.037 before applying the CD crack, and THEN installing RenGuard. Follow the sticky "how to install renguard" thread.
