Hey,
Im a betatester of a new secret mod.
I have a problem with a few maps of this mod, but the maker of the mod doesnt know whats wrong :S......
The problem is that my pc is restarting automatically after loading the map. Its just weird.... I get the loading screen... I see myself a few sec. inside a building sometimes I can even move a little bit, but then it restarts :S
I think it has something to do with my videocard, because another betatester (with the same videocard) has the same problem.... All other betatesters dont...... (PS: I have ALL latest updates/patches/upgrades)
Does some1 know what the problem could be?

Try reinstalling, you might have a load of crap in your renegade directory, - ive noticed a slow down in game reponse in all westwood games as you install maps, mods and image files.
Or delete a few maps you dont play.
In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.
When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

Same here i have the exact same PC but half the ram. I can't see this being a hardware fault because it's just renegade that is effected. Also the GeForce 4 ti 4200 on my system is very stable and I have had no problems related to it. Other than that it's something to do with the map which is more likely considering its what your experiencing problems with.
