Suprnova and TorrentBits are gone. They claim they couldn't find admins to maintain the sites or stuff, but I don't know...there's somekind of Anti-warez program going on out there. Finlands biggest Bittorrent site, Finreactor, was shut down, and the administrator's PCs were confiscated. Charges will probably be pressed against the most active uploaders too, but things in the court always take time, especially when there's a lot of information to deal with.
It worked pretty darn well, many warez-sites were closed down voluntarily when people realised that spreading copyrighted material over the Internet actually isn't legal.
This happened about a week ago, and was all over the news. Things have settled down since, but people are thinking twice (or more like 10 times), before using Bittorrent for illegal filesharing now...
There's a hole in the sky through which things can fly.
