I've asked for help here before, but nothing seemed to work. I even asked a mod for help and got nothing.
Here is the problem. I downloaded Renguard, and when I run the install wizard I have a window pop up with 3 options: modify, repair, remove. If I select modify or repair, a pop up tells me that that option cannot be done. I can only select remove. In the past I have removed both renguard and reinstalled renegade, but nothing has improved.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this. Cheaters are a waste of time, and I want to play renguarded servers.

I never installed any mods or maps, and the game auto updated as soon as I installed it. I have no idea what to do. I just cant click next when installing renguard. I get a popup that says "you cannot modify this installation" when I click on modify and repair.
This sucks sooo bad

zunnie's guide walks you through installing RenGuard from a clean install... I suggest, since you don't have any custom maps or textures, to uninstall everything, and start again, following the instructions provided in the guide linked above.

thats just the thing. I've uninstalled and reintall twice now, and the same thing happened both times. I guess I'll just eat it and play with the no tallent cheats. Thanks for the help tho

checked the folder, and only found game.exe, no game2.exe. Oh well. Thanks to for the help to all. I give up with this program, a shame really. But what can I do?
