OK here goes.
Firstly WOL ranking doesn't mean shit (and the fact that my clan is 1st on the WOL rank does not affect that view) because it's unmoderated. A good example is about two months ago, a clan called -lBGl- were in 1st, simply because they kept kicking everyone who was about to beat them.
The real clan rank is at http://clanwars.cc.
You get points based on the rank of your opposing clan i.e. if you beat the clan that's top of the league you get craploads of points for that... just beating a clan that's never played before is usually a 10-pointer.
The best thing about clanwars.cc ranking is unlike WOL, you can get games added if the ladder doesn't report them (because WOL sucks), and games removed if something happened that shouldn't e.g. someone cheating, or the host kicking their opponents to avoid a loss.

Thanks for the excellent responce, but one last question..........
So what about 1 on 1's, do they effect clan rank? Like is it the same as WOL, where the more players in the game, the more ladder points you get?

No, size of the game is irrelevant, 1v1 will give the same points as a 20v20. Oh yeah, and warrior rankings are fux0red as well, and the admins don't add points to the warrior ranks, just the clan ranks. (again, my opinion is unbiased since I won the warrior cup last month as well as the clan cup)

the only problem wit clanwars is the fact that clans use to make.. ah crap i forgot the term for it but what they would do is top clans would make fake clans and beat another top clan and you lose like 4x as much just so the other clan would pull uphead.

Yeah, they used to, it's technically known as "point pushing" and clans have actually been banned from the league for doing that.

I would like to know how WOL ladder works for playing by yourself. What does it look for to give you a ranking.
