Yes, it's really unfair. Sadly this argument was used as an excuse for losing a clan game once. We had nearly reached the Hand of Nod on Islands before they could load and they were stuck defending and ended up getting killed by our soldiers over and over trying to defend and lost the building... then cried about it because "we are college students and we can't afford fast loading machines".
I'm the bawss.

1) This was the clan war that started making that a rule. This was back when Renegade clanning was in its infancy and WL dominated everyone.
2) This was the 6th of a 7-map match and no one had bitched before.

I snipe slightly better with my 45fps at high detail then 15 at low on my old computer. But when it comes to orcas/apaches and apcs i can actually use them in big games now and hs no problem. You could always wait 3 years until everyone has atleast 60fps

I don't by one until i've sniped most of them, really in a 40 player game full with all buildings i'd get shot down once every 10 minutes unless their whole team is havocs.

Until you get shot down in two seconds by a loser with a n00b cannon ramjet "sniper" rifle...

Belive it or not, i've heard many times that you say its not possible to shoot down a helicopter with a sniper rifle in real life, but that is not true.
Many types of firearms can be purchased that easily in the United States. Few of them, however, would be as dangerous in the hands of terrorists. A .50-caliber sniper rifle, experts say, would be more than capable of shooting down an airliner as it took off or landed. Indeed, aimed properly, this weapon could be as effective as a shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missile, such as the one used by terrorists in an unsuccessful attack on an Israeli passenger plane in Kenya in November. A .50-caliber rifle, by contrast, sells for as little as $1,250 at Potomac Arms in Alexandria. Incendiary rounds, which ignite on impact, cost roughly $2 a piece and are also essentially unregulated.
Info about this can be found just about anywhere. So next time you think that its impossible, just think about if the driver, or gas tank were shot at from the right angle
