I have something like MSBlast on my friends computer, and I was able to make the time left 8760 days. I can't find the MSBlast virus though. Does anyone know what it is?

No. Seriously. No.

If you haven't applied the MS Windows RPC patch, it will always come back.

I did install the update, but the program is not here, and it comes back, and the registry key isn't here either.

I'm sorry can't help you.

Update: An onlder post about blaster. I also checked it out for you, MSblast = the infamous blaster. http://www.renegadeforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=6877&highlight=blaster

This is why you respond to anti-virus software.

right a good temp fix to this is to go on administration tools and then services.
Go down to "Remote procedure call (RPC)"
click the tab to "recovery" adn change the settings to restrt the service rather then restart the computer.

this fixes the problem of msblast... but is still no subtitue for the patch.

hope this helps,.
