This Happens Every Day in euro wol i got 6/7 servers every time a server is full the asshole is crashing a server not only my servers is a target but more big servers
can this be fixt YES or NO
btw is there a way to setup the server in gamespy mode then put in wolspy or another option

someone on WOL asks for the player list of whos in the game and wot scores like u see before u click start
then they ask for it again without waiting for reply, then again, then again, for about 100 times in a second
server trying to reply, doesnt check game and it does that
thats wot i heard anyhows, called a GO flood

you people are such n00bs when it comes to renegade servers,
your getting ddosed or your getting udp flooded.
THis is not a "cheat" its a server attack
|
then explain why they can see disconnections happening...
am sure brenbot would also lose connection if it was a ddos...
udp flood maybe, GO flood maybe

The renegade server is dosed, it looses all connections to their clients.
brenbot will eventually ping timeout from the IRC server, but at most times, the attack only takes a couple of seconds or a minute, and that is not enough to generate a ping time out response from a IRC server

It's actually probably BoToMaTiC (AKA H4cKBoT). Use something like renip, or use the command-line to connect as "H4cK*" (without the quotes). Then ban that nick. It will stop H4cKBoT/H4cKBoT01/H4cKBoT02/etc/etc from joining, and flooding the room. When he floods the room, users D/C, the server reconnects, and when it's able to rejoin the WOL channel it means he's moved on. (so no probs till the next time).

that H4cKBoT has over 5,000 names, because he crashed the chat room once before by making all 5000 join and leave constantly, it disconnected everyone from the renegade chat room and it wouldnt let me join for a good 5 minutes
