Can't install RenGuard [message #114208]

Recruit

I installed Renegade earlier today and put a few skins in and added the no cd patch. When I went to install RenGuard it keeps saying this:

Things I have done to try and fix the problem:

-Download new RenGuard file from http://www.RenGuard.com
-Rebooted

It still tells me the same thing Sad

Where is your 'Game.exe' ?
Its missing on the screenshot, that is probably why it fails. You deleted your Game.exe from the renegade dir (or something else did).

To be able to use the installer you downloaded from RenGuard.com do this EXACTLY as i write it:

- Download: http://www.fanmaps.net/downloads/zunnie/Game2.exe
- Rename this file to Game.exe
- Copy it into your C:\westwood\Renegade\
- Run the RenGuard installer and install RenGuard.

It SHOULD work. Also, this Game2.exe is patched so you dont need to have the CD-ROM in your drive anymore which will cause the game to startup like 3-5 seconds faster.
