He is using 2-3 exploits:
UDP flood attack (ping goes to 9999 kicks)
WOL IRC Server nick name flood (wol irc kicks server offline because of too many player requests)
UDP scan attack (will only work on servers not running my udp scan patch)

Renegade, the game itself, sucks. The engine is incredible.

Play a game on a decent engine (IE: CS:S) and you'll see just how limited the Renegade engine is.
