It's an April Fools.
Case in point: "Due to the move from Las Vegas to the new EALA studio, and the takeover of the previous Renegade team, additional resources have become available, which can now be used for Renegade 2."
That is bullshit, because from what I was told, NONE of the Renegade team moved to LA. They are ALL GONE. Renegade will see no further development, period. Unless they hire all new guys to take it over, and since they are consolidating their offices to save money, what do you think the odds are of that.

Well actually quite a lot of the Renegade crew are currently at EA LA... although some were fired by EA during money-saving ideas in March 2002 then Dan Cermak and a couple of others left in summer 2002. Some decided not to move to LA even though they were given the opportunity... but there ARE renegade team members in LA

I'll take your word for it, but that's not what three different WS employees told me. I suppose its possible that some of the "upper management" moved, but I was told that none of the team made the move.
