Just like the vast majority of this board, I think there should be an Off Topic forum added. There is almost no reason to not add an Off Topic forum. There are reasons to add one, like:
1. Adding an Off Topic Forum will keep the spam (and off topic posts) out of the other forums (these usually take up residence in the General forum)
2. This will give everyone a real place to post about stuff that isn't related to this site/forum or Renegade.
3. The [OT] prefix that is commonly found on posts in the General forum and others are annoying (and for the most part not needed, we can tell that a post is obviously off topic without the help of a stupid prefix)
4. Et Cetera
Like the American War/Politics forum, the Off Topic could be lightly moderated.

umm...what would we put in General Discussion if there was an Off Topic forum? Mod updates should be going in the mod section and tech support goes there...as well as tactics and strategy...General Discussion = anything (hence "General")

Oh wow... The General Discussion forum is for, the general discussion of Command & Conquer Renegade, what a surprise. A general "catch all" forum for all discussion that has to do with the game.
An Off Topic forum would be for off topic discussions that, surprisingly, don't have anything to do with the game.
