One of the better and interesting strategy guides I have read in a long time! For your last strategy, I have done something simliar, but done with something a bit more easier to do. If you use a mobius or havoc, you can take a 300 point hit and still have 50 points of health left. Then you can make it to the back of the refinery and lay an ion. Also works on the Obselik on City since it's pretty close to the tunnel.

The whole point of doing it like we've described is so that you don't HAVE to take the ob hit, thus making your defense of the beacon or c4 you've placed that much easier.
