I have been seeing many people cheating in game who were connected to the Renguard network.
I have witnessed things happening to me like one shot pistol deaths. I have witnessed my vehicle being destroyed in one hit without a discernable trace.
I witnessed someone being gunned down by a Nod shotgunner from long range. Range that the shotgunner could have no way hit someone let alone killed in one hit from.
All on Renguard protected servers.
I was reluctant to post any of this for fear of simply being laughed off as a n00b, until my friend offered insight into how people might be doing this and that he himself did it.
" When renguard came out, i had my brother use softice, and make a instructions line, jump to the finish instead of checking for cheats
So it returned as cheat free, instead of checking"
I asked "So you made the EXE point to a clean folder instead of the one with cheats in it like punkbuster"?
"No you could do that with a hexeditor though I guess it would be an easier way though".
Whether or not he was telling the truth there are definetly people cheating who are on the Renguard network. They are somehow bypassing it and I wish the team would look into any possible ways they might be doing this
