The "battle" in the forums today called for quick action, and he ran off to sleep right in the middle of things, so we didn't have much choice. We gave him several chances, and I even spent $100 of my own money to "bribe" him to cooperate... but he couldn't cooperate. We don't feel such actions are a good reflection on our team at BHS, and we were sick of him starting and never finishing every project under the sun except for our own. There is no doubt in my mind that you would all be playing with CP1 already if it weren't for his intentional delaying.
He is a really, really talented coder, but when he's holding up everything and everyone and not actually doing much coding for BHS, we just can't have him on the team. Scorpio and jonwil will need a couple weeks to recreate all the scripts, but we'll get them to you.

No one crashed them the other day.
All I know is that they crashed with an error message that I've never seen before on the non-RenAlert FDSes... I've been running server(s) for over 2 years and I've never once seen crashes like these. You tell me what I'm supposed to think after you make threats to crash servers.

Edit: No, it's not a conflict of interest. It's just bullshit. I was more than willing to give SK the benefit of the doubt but his attitude has just pissed me off completely. It ticked me off alone that he was harassing jonwil, but this has just gone too far. :rolleyes: What, is SK going to go "crash people's computers" now, since he is so high and mighty and is so obviously more than capable of doing it? Get revenge or wreak havoc because somebody "stole his ideas"? I'm sorry SK, but I really thought better of you.
I respect and admire the work that you've done for Renegade, however significant it may be--I took your word for it, that even though it isn't public, it's still great--but your attitude has made it very hard for people to feel the same way. Look at what it's done! People have chosen sides and a battle has raged. Now you're even more pissed off, people are upset at you, and your cause to prove jonwil guilty has been lost. Whether he really stole from you or you did it for selfish reasons, it no longer matters since your attitude has turned people off. The fact is, no one cared about whether you released your work or not--no one knew about it, and if they did no one really asked for it, but because you maliciously attacked another member of the community for doing what you allegedly already came up with first, your claims have become baseless and frivolous. I mean, come on! To base your attacks towards him on the premise that he STOLE YOUR IDEAS? Did jonwil hack into your computer with his uberl33t skills, stole your code and decided to release it to the community just to spite you? Why would he do that? What does jonwil have against you? Is he jealous of your programming skills? Does he want to make all your long hours for nothing?
You can't really do anything if you invent something, keep it secret, and a month later find out that someone else as brilliant as you also came up with the same idea and patented your idea just before you tried to. There just is no one to be mad at--you can't blame the other guy for thinking of it too, and actually doing something about it?
Oh, what if you found the cure for AIDS or diabetes, huh? Would you keep that secret too? What if someone else also found the cure and released it? Does the other doctor deserve a letter in the mail in all caps saying: YOU FUCKING BASTARD, YOU STOLE MY IDEA YOU RETARD! YOU DESERVE TO DIE!
It just ticks me off when this kind of bashing goes on, and to condone and to instigate such senseless hostility that only drives a jagged wedge into this tiny community only alienates people and compels them into choosing sides. People shouldn't have to feel as if they need to pick sides with such an environment like this. Maybe that's what has been irking me lately, from preventing me from pulling up RenX and Leveledit again and doing something I used to enjoy so much. What use will it be, when I'll just inevitably get caught in the mudslinging?
