Yeah, disable your antivirus and internet security, it will load fasteraa Shocked

1337 haxxor from Korea then attacks you, and you have no defense. I get around three attacks a day, when I am playing Ren and on IRC. I would rather be safe, than sorry.

Exiting programs in your background will probably only improve your fps by 2, possibly not even at all. He has 512mb of ram, having something like Norton running in the background won't affect Renegade at all, only the internet lag.

renegade is playable 15+ fps i usually get 30+fps in public games )up to 16 ppl) and 50 max but i have a 900mhz pc wich is main prob and a geforce2 mx 400

Yeah, 15 FPS is just barely playable.. It's still pretty hard to play in. I'm hoping to get a new video card soon and that should increase my FPS Smile
