It would be nice if it was possible to quit/exit renegade using the console (F8 / ` )

Just type F8, quit/exit [enter] and then renegade exits.

And then make "fixlag" work as a quit command. That way when n00bs keep complaining about "lag", just tell them to fix the lag by hitting F8, typing "fixlag", and hitting Enter.

whoa.

That should be easy to create, will take a look at it later on.

Uh, if they done "fixlag" then people would still have to download the new version of commands; allowing them to know what it does.

lol.

Or just make the fixlag one display "Lag fixed" in big letters on the screen, yet have it do bugger all.

I can mod ut2k4, but wouldn't know where to start on renegade. Maybe should learn.....

The cure to people saying "lag" all the time:

Do a pamsg to them "YOU lag" this will be very annoying.
Once they figure them saying "lag" causes it, theyll stop saying it lol Smile

That`s a bit useless as not all MP3 are music.

Ah yes you're right. Or they could type fixlag and be spammed in pms by a bot or something.

To exit renegade type F8 and then %r%e%n Laughing

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

yeah an ingame music player would be good, like in UT, or JA, you can use in-game commands to change the tracks like !play filename, !next, !prev, !stop etc.

What I want is a music player, C&C style. Or is this just wishful thinking?

You press Esc, go to Options, Sound and see a list of available tracks and things like that.

Also.. how about reenabling the "CNC" console command?
This is the word that automatically gets sent in to console when you use the hidden Buy key setting. I belive it was used to test the purchase menu dialog.

You press B, and it inputs automatically "CNC" to console.
