I have a creative NOMAD 128Mb MP3 player and I use the creative software supplied to organise files on it.

Today I deleted a few folders on there containg pictures and exe's (games from miniclip.com, a reliable website in my opinion).

To my utter suprise after selcting enough files to fill 120Mb worth it said the drive was full even though there was only 58.3Mb taken up.

The problem is that even with no files on the drive ( I deleted them all ), 50% of the drive space has been taken up Shocked

I right clicked the F drive>properties and it says that 58Mb out of 128 are used up. I check the drive and there are no files/folders on there (yes i have view hidden files and folders checked).

Can anyone help me here? I find it strange that pretty much exactly 50% of the drive space is taken up.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

woooooooooooo nooo no no no no.

If I format it it won't work full stop.

I know it's rewritable because I've lost count of how many times I have deleted the music off of it and put new stuff on there.

Thanks anyway kopaka

How old is it? Maybe it is damaged? And, Did you went back to the store where you've bought it? Maybe they can help you.
