It's time for a RenGuard update!
RenGuard 1.1 is in progress. The connection code is being reworked by the lovely Scorpio9a to ensure more reliable connectivity with the master servers and auto-reconnect in the event that your connection with a master fails.
RenGuard 1.1 will also feature some sound enhancements including volume control, and support for proxy servers. (those of you who need this know who you are)
We also spend quite a bit of time working on the backend network. mac is tirelessly working on improving the reliability of the master servers. Several weeks ago, we were informed of a RenGuard exploit which was fixed within hours on the master servers.
However, BHS' primary focus is Core Patch 1, which is nearing completion.
We don't have an ETA for either item yet, but the team works on these projects every day, and we'll get them to you as soon as we can.
