I am encouraging the mappers to become involved in fan map day. I feel that the support of the people who actually do the work is essential to making this an even bigger hit.
The next day of "Host a new map day" will be Sat. Oct. 12th.
I need your help to make this a success. Please respond with any suggestions so that I can relay to the admins of the servers. I would also like your help in participating in a chat to get and give props and helpfull suggestios that the community might make in what we would like to see in the future.

I agree, I want people to host a poll on their site, where peeps can vote for the best fan maps, and after the poll, those maps will play on their server for a whole week. And after that, another poll. Like a popularity cycle. Awsome.

Problem with polls is that you have to visit that web site. So, my alternative is to have the mappers present their maps and solicit feedback. I am also attempting to have a DL list by the 10th and the server list as well

How about the other fan maps like the ones at RenegadeAmmo?
(not to distract our attention from the awsome ACK WW maps.)

Version 1 of high alitude is done, but i've heard if has some FDS problems so i'm working on V2... i'm adding a lot of stuff too... should be done within a week.
