For some reason, my pistol sounds odd, but better. It's not the normal pistol sound. I've re-installed the game 4 times while i had this, and it never went away. I even tested it before i downloaded all my stuff for renegade again. And my friends automatic rifel soudns like a frickin colt [Eek!]

. Is there any mods that change these sounds? What are they> And is there a program to change your sounds?

rename a gun sound "rifle_fire" (must be a .wav file) and put it in your Renegade/Data dir

you could download gun sounds from: http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/soundsgunfire1.asp

there is a selection of weapon sounds you could use in a mod. i havent tried it myself though

They should make the chinook carry vehicles and have the ramp and rope com down with the guys in it, is it possible greg???? I would really like to see that in multiplayer!!

It would be neat to have this magnetic effect. So that if the chinook hits another vehicle they stick unless the one fires. But then one would have to remake the chinook with say a magnet bone. And there would have to be a new script for it.

that would be funny, but incredibly *** at the same time...imagine, a Chinook that swoops down, latches on to a Flame Tank, lifts it to the flight ceiling, then drops it. [Big Grin]

Cool mod, make the Transport from TS and get Johnathan Wilson to make scripts for U to get it to work.

1) first script could change vehicles gravity temp. while its being moved.

2) second script would assign the vehicle attachment to the transport.

3) 3rd script would "drop" the vehicle from the transport.

add the no falling damage script too.

All these ideas are really good, and i personaly would love to see em. Although i can't help think that it might take a heavy toll on multiplayer games.
