Hi, im new to this game. ive downloaded four map packs for online play. and i ran into a site that has DM Maps ! is there anyway to play any of these besides online ? (mod maybe) and what is the best way to play online ? thx in advance for helping a poor NOOB out [Wink]

I would suggest using WOL for online play. As for playing the maps, just host a 1 player LAN Game to test them yourself, just be sure to uncheck "dedicated server" when hosting.

thx for the tip's and the welcome. im kinda liking this game online. but i cant register at WOL i get my info entered. where the button to submit the info is chopped off. is there a newer version of WOL or is there a fix maybe ..tia

You can edit the skirmish cfg file in the data folder of Renegade and make it load the maps when you do Multiplayer Practise...

humm try changeing the max res in the edit file should be like in C:/westwood/Renegade/westwoodconfig.exe or some thing then when you try to reg it should all show up [Smile] or if you are doing it online then try changeing your max res on your moniter

Yes, change your screen resolution to a higher number and it will shrink the programs view a little so the chopped button should appear.
