i downloaded all the new maps from renegadeammo.tk and now when i start renegade it takes a long time for them to load whyy??????????????????????
can anyone help please....

Long time to load? Maybe you should get a very powerfull computer... like mine. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) But there isn't really anything you can do to make them load faster except get a better computer. Get the latest dell with 512 ram, hyper-thread proccesor, high-end graphics card, ect.

Have you installed Kazaa or Gator? These programs steal all free resources.

guys its none of that, i tried everything and they are in pkg format, most of them
and i have a
2.8 Ghz
512 Rdram
Asus 8179 Series Geforce 4 Ti 4400
and i still have to wait for renegade to load since i added the new maps...
can anyone help please............????

Well, you can't just have instant loading (unless you have like a Raid[like me]) but my raid still takes time...
i don't get why loading is such a pain to you, but it could be a magical thing called "Patience"

.pkg files take longer to load up. They tend to lag the MOTD when you log onto WOL, because the game has to open the package, and load up the map.
