- I was just wondering beacuse i cant get something i need to use for a skinning tutorial to work without it.

-Also i am just starting out in skinning and am wondering if any good skinner can take me in and teach me more about skinning. My AIM is Defconbladez.

Then why don't you find a tutorial that is based on Gmax? Wouldn't that make more sense? [Roll Eyes]

You have to convert over to gmax in order to import to Ren, and you lose all textures when you do that, so its just easier to start out in gmax. The main differnece between 3DSMax and gmax is 3DSMax has the ability to render while gmax doesn't.
