I was looking through the Renegade Alert site and looked in the weapons page, why is there a M16 and ak-47 there?
I thought this was about Red Alert? [ February 18, 2003, 04:34: Message edited by: Sir Phoenixx ]

I searched and it does say m16 (although this is like 20-30 years too early for the m16)
But it doesn't say anything at all about the ak47... (the ak47 wasn't put into service until 1949)

Sparxx, this takes place after WWII, Eisten Tryed to go back and stop hilter from ever starting the war. But War was still unstopable, as Stalin Lead the Soivets to fight with the allied powers.
But the thing that troubles me is: if infantry can't be chrono-shifted, Then how did someone go into the past?

Laser I msut agree with you, and can only say again, check the manual I can upload the intro, that tells the story as an avi if anybody like it. My RA1 Mod is named 'Operation Flashback' what was the codename for Einsteins project, and whats affect that the story of RA1 happens istead of the (3. Reich)

WWII, red alert, Red Alert appears to take place around the time of the Vietnam War, which could of happened some time earlier because of the spread of communism.
About the weapons, I'd like to see an MP-5 and SAW in that mod also.

Wrong time period OrcaPilot ...
The mp5 was introduced in 1966, the fn minimi (fn m249 saw) was introduced in 1982...
The Tommy smg and sten smg would fit alot better

And how can you chronoshift vehicles without killing the drivers?
Dont ask so many questions. Its not good for your brain.

Your models(gun and building) look really good! By the way, you should convert those images into JPEG format because those bitmaps take forever to load.

That building is nice, except for the fact that it is way to heavy on polygons...
That mp5 is alright except for the front of the gun...

Does it really matter that much what gun the infantry carried in RA1? They could have been running round with sticks for all I care, it's not like you could make then out!
