ok i get to the end of this mission and there is a cut scene with a bio-genetics scientist who orders her "new and improved" Raveshaw monster to kill me. How in the world do you kill it??? [ March 02, 2002: Message edited by: tkcllc ]

Aim for the head and keep backpedalling. I used up all my Ion Cannon shots, and all my laser, and all my chaingun (mostly because of poor marksmanship) and I ended up with 60 something health.

He caught me a few times as I was pelting him with the laser rifle. Then he went to the center platform and kept jumping from the floor to that ceiling fixture. At that point I switched to ion cannon and nailed him 3 or 4 times. Dead. I couldn't figure out if he got stuck in some kind of loop or if he just does that at a certain point. I will say if he gets you and throws you and you aren't near a wall.. WOW he throws you faaar. But judging from some of the bugs and some of the ..*cough* AI *cough* I figured he got broken somehow.

I know there are a couple of topics about this mission, but... Mission 5-I have no problem saving Deadeye, but just up the road after you destory the NOD Flametank, Hotwire broadcasts a radio message and the inexplicably dies. How can I save her when I haven't even reached her position yet?

she's the first person that you should save. dn't go any further, go back to where you start, she's somewhere around there. you can't see here because sh'e in a building with some fallen ceiling blocking the door way. look at the radar and the pointer on top right. it should show you where she is. btw, don't save deadeye 1st coz you have to protect him or he'll be dead.

hey you guys my problem is that i can't seem to save DEADeye at all cause when i reach the NOD flameTank it broadcast that DeadEye is killed for some reasons Plz help

I had this problem too. You are MISSING deadeye. If you get to the flametank you went too far. Right before the flametank, there is a building surrounded by 2 APCs and a Lt tank. He is in the building on the 2nd floor.

I've never had any of these problems???
maybe there are some NOD road blocks, interfearing with things, because I provided cover for Dead Eye, while on rought to the meeting postion, and he came under fire, from Mendoza and some other NOD troops.

If they die, it's only because you went too far... Hotwire is strait at the beginning, just blow the wall with c4... and deadeye is un a huge building surrounded by nod forces...
