it is a good idea and i tried it(before reading it here) the problem is that sometimes the door gets stuck
a templar will go part way into the door and stop then the door will get stuck shut and the only way i found to get around it was to reload the mission and try again. this happened many times until finally i just killed a couple this way then ran in with guns blazing
