Well, any strategies? I'm on Soldier difficulty, and get whiped out before i can kill a decent dumber of Stealth soldiers...

The way I dealt with the other enemies was by running down the ramp as soon as the fight begins. Not only do you get more cover this way, not all the enemies will follow you down, so you won't have to fight as many of them at once. I found the Laser Chain Gun to be very helpful here, so try to save up some ammo for it if you can. Once you get rid of the other soldier's, Petrova is cannon fodder for the Volt Auto Rifle. Keep on zapping her, she'll remained stunned and unable to return fire. Hope that helps, at least a little

soldier level? what a wuss just immediately back out the room and over side of ledge then kill all blk hands you can while going back into the room then go into one of thecells and pick off petrova wit ion cannon or chain gun or whatever is available

After i posted i went back in the game and finished it. I planted 4 c-4 infront of the lab, ran down the stairs, then rushed Petrova with PIC and killed her with a few headshots. The c-4 took care of most of the stealths and none followed.

i'm in commando level a got killedtrying to fight those black hand and petrova head on and what i get is die in less than 3 seconds. first of all, i snipe at those templar then only engage petrova and RUN don't the slope. the slope have stuff situated strategically to keep my armor and life high enough to survive those black hand shooting from behind. once i reach the bottom, petrova is 1 floor right above and i finished her with volt gun. easy, she got stun and stand still for me to shoot to death. those black hand upstair are no more threat because i let those visceroid inthe cell stay alive managed to kill almost all of black hand leaving 2 for me to finish them off.

I took my flamethrower (i know, weird approach) and immideatly burst into the masses. While most of them started to burn the shooting was reduced and i moved behind one of the enemies to take cover from the rest, then i advanced always trying to keep them all burning. When all stealth soldiers were killed i nailed Petrova with the PIC pretty easy.

I sniped the mutants and Visceroids before I confronted her, then when I approached her, I just walked backwards over the ledge to the next level down. Only a few Blackhand followed me down, and, of course, Petrova. I used the Volt auto rifle and she was dead in one or two reloads. Then I grabbed the armour and health and dispatched the other Blackhand's. Easier than I thought... Had a harder time underneath the whole temple in the tunnels with the spawning mutants. Cheers

Darn those spawning mutants! I wasted all my ammo on them!! chaingun... laser rifle... laser chaingun... I wish I'd know that they would never stop coming. Oh well. Next time I'll remember to rush through and only shoot what's right in front of me.

LOL..Tom I did the exact same thing.Wasted all my ammo before I realized that they never stopped!!Luckly I saved just before there and didn't have to go to far.That is what I like about the game,full of surprizes. Like the Visceroids popping out of strange places and scaring the crap out of you.
