I just got the flame tank, completed all the secondary objectives, except the obelisk. I failed it  . Anyway, every time I pass a certain point, hotwire gets killed, and theres nothing i can do to stop it. Can anyone help?

Lots of people are having truble with this mission I don't know why, hopefully its not a BUG. 
So you have the flame tank and you are approaching the obelisk, you tell Hotwire to meet in the Cathedral, hmmm, maybe there are some NOD troops giving trouble or maybe Mendoza, I hate him, he's stupid.
Maybe look around for NOD units, or check to see if it is a time factor thing, like she is already under attack.
Or just restart the mission thats what I did on the Ship level, what ever it was called.

Hotwire's not getting killed... you're letting the missile launchers blow up. Those two trucks at the end of the map there... guard those!!

yep ... dont kill the sams and u will lose the mision .. and dont kill the buggy .. if u kill the buggy hotwire will run to the sam.
kill the apc's first and u got a lot less problems
