How do you avoid oblisk in single player? Specifically the one in the stage that you need to take out temple of nod. I can't get past it

You can destroy it from a distance after knocking off the infantry in the surrounding area. I did it with rockets. A waste of ammo perhaps, but easy enough. Good luck.

Try to use the mammoth-tank.. From a save distance, start aiming at the tower....
After a while the tower is destroyed..
(takes a while, but teaches you the skill for aiming with a vehicle  )

take a hummer stay out of range as long as possible ride in a strait line towards the obilisk DONT STOP!! and make yourway into that thing.. *this is the way i do it in the multiplayer.. dont know if it will work in single player do..

Mobile rocket launcher...took it out in less than a minute. Pretty easy I must say.

I can't find the construction yard, all I can find is the fenced temple (I think that's the temple), hand of nod, refinery and the annoying oblisk.

Which obelisk? You only face about 4 in the entire game... the first mission, the one with the dam, the one titled Obelisk of Opression, and one endgame. How DO you blow up the Obelisk of Opression? I saw the prima strat guide, and it said nuke it. Well, I get fried before I come even close to it!
