These tactics will be shure to embarrass whoever you do them to. They sure embarrased me!

THE IGNORANT SNIPER

Go in back of a sniper and to whatever it takes! For maximum fun, put timed on his back and slip out unnoticed. It will be so rando, that you will get messages saying that you cheated and you will be booted off the server! Umm, okay, maybe it's not so great then.

There are tons of variations to this. One time I was sniping while an intense battle was going on under me. My side was loosing, but I was slowly winning. Someone went in back of me and slowly pushed me off the ledge without me noticing... I fell down, and those guys got revenge for all my sniping that I had done.

THE ROAD RAGE TACTIC

So far this has only worked for me on city. When there are enemy troops coming toward your base, push them over the side of the highway with a fast vehicle and watch them burn. For maximum compliment to injury, get them in a tiberium field.

Now, that had happened to me, but mine was even more embarrasing. I was on City, and I had just gotten a shiny new flame tank to reinforce my allies who were fighting over the highway. I drove it up to the battlefield, but all of a sudden three mobile artiliries came from behind me and decided they should get there first. Yep, they pushed me off, and I exploded. Little mother f****ers.

THE UNEXPECTED C4 TACTIC

When you've infiltrated the enemy base, wait for someone to go to a PT or just stand still (PT is better though). Put a timed on their head, and hightail it out of there! They won't know what hit them!

I heard one guy put a remote C4 on a Raveshaw and told the Raveshaw to buy him a tank or he would detonate the C4. The Raveshaw actually did it! If I was him, I would say "**** you GDI coward! I die for Kane!"

You know, if Taximes ever reads this, I just think it would be funny if TSAI gets into a clan match and uses some of these. They are just pure comedy- until they happen to you of course.

I got booted from a few games because I would plant C4 on people with my stealth black hand.

I was leading in points by almost double what anyone else had (this was when the game first came out).

I guess the person running the server got tired of his Havoc blowing up suddenly and me taunting him. He kept picking off our people and I kept nailing him with my Pistol and C4 charges while he was aiming.

this doesn't qualify as a stupid tactic, but it is my dumbest blunder. i just bought a stealth black hand and nuke beacon. i was heading for the enemy base and noticed a mammy moving up on our base with a hotwire in tow. i stopped, snuck up from behind on the hotwire and popped him with my gun, only to get backed over by the mammy. 1400 down the drain! lol

I wish that you could put beacons on harvesters. Now THAT would be embarassing. But not as embarrassing as having your mammy taken out by a pistol (yes, I saw that happen in one game).

lol...i got stuck as a stealth inside the barracks of GDI...lol...their engis kept walking up to the master control where i was hiding to reapir it, so i stand behind them and blast them through the back of the head....managed to get five kills before two chaingunners found me...

LOL....I've done that too! That's why it's always a great idea to let a stealth black hand in your apc engi/tech rush! It's so fun to see the panicked engiees fall to the invisible man!
I think I racked up 14 kills once doing this (it's also a guilty pleasure to kill off respawning people in the building...I know it's cheap, but it's oooh so fun!)
Part of the reason this works so well is because some engiess get so flustered when they rush in to fix the mct...if you stand really still, you'll often go unoticed...it's like they look for movement out of the corner of their eye....

Planting C4 on people is just sooooo fun

My best experience was in C&C Under. There were about 2 rocket infantry camping our tunnel door, shooting at obelisk. None of my teammates cared, they would just repair the obelisk and run off to battle, no matter how much I told them I needed a hand to take them out...
So I got some money to buy a stealth black hand, got some C4, deployed it on his back, went back to base, bought more C4, deployed, etc... I had like 3-4 charges on each them

It was so funny when I just typed in their names and said "Surprise!" *boink*

ah yes, the ole spawn camper. we had that situation back in ww2ol(what a shame that game didn't work. i wanted it to succeed so bad. now i've heard that crs has gone bankrupt. what a shame). there was much debate as to whether it was an ethical tactic. in the end, it was. so before any of you guys b*tch about the spawn campers, remember if your base defenses were there, they wouldn't be able to do that in the first place. sorry if i skewed this thread's topic, but i just wanted to say my peace on the subject of spawn camping.

Yeah, spawn camping in this game seems perfectly legitamate in this game. If an enemy can camp out long enough in a structure to kill off that many folks, you've already lost the game. That and the fact that there are a number of differnt spawn points in the game. I've ceratinly been picked off and spawned somewhere else, went back, and got sweet revenge!!!
The only thing better than being a spawn camper is handing one his own ***! (note: I put in my own asterisk's...just beat the **** board at it's own game...oh, wait, forgot I couldn't say ****).

My most embarresing manouver...

In my newbie days in C&C (this was in the demo version) I bought a beacon not knowing it's full power, tried to plant it on the enemy harvester thinking it would take the beacon into the enemie's base and eneded up planting it in the TFeild (as a Chem). Unfortunatly I not only MISSED the enemy harvester, I nailed our own and killed two of my m8s.
Oh well. It seemed like a cool idea at the time.

I have no shame, so I'll go ahead and post an embarrassing moment.

I had just bought a nice shiny flame tank and hopped in. An engineer got in too, and I started heading towards the GDI base, driving over the end of the airstrip in the process. Sure enough, a cargo plane crashed right into my tank and killed it. The entire ride lasted about 3 seconds. I think the guy riding with me was in shock at what had just happened, because he just stood there looking at me.

On a side note, I think the airstrip has killed me more times than other players have. One day I'll learn not to take shortcuts across it.

HEHE...Only once has tha cargo plane killed me.

I joind a game on the islands.mix, and the first I heard was:Hand of Nod destroyed" (I was Nod)

So I looked outside the controltower and saw a mammy starting to pound the refinery. I decided to buy a stealth tank that would last long if I used it right, and our airfield was destroyed(which was very likely)

But as soon as I entered the stealt, the lag "dragged" my tank against the mammy, even though I was driving in the opposite direction Suddenly, my stealth dissapeared an he mammy pounded me. So i tried to put some speed on my shiny engy ass and ran over the airfield, turned around and saw the huge cargoplane mow me down

Way too long story, shoot me

oops...a couple of typos up there but I don't bother to edit

I want to share yet another story, one of those "C4" stories.

A couple of days ago, I played a game on Field, and I was running around in my stealth suit, grooving. Then I saw a huge, blue ray coming from the waterfall, and that sweet reload sound of the PIC. So I ran up the hill and found a Sydney and an Hotwire up there. Sydney was wrecking our harvester, whilst the Hotwire, who was the MVP, constantly fixed Sydney. I took the C4 out of my pocket and gently throwed it at the back of the Hotwire. Then I pulled back and pulled out the pistol, in case Sydney survived.

After 30 seconds I finally heard it:

"BOOM"-"BOINK"

Both died in the sweetest C4 blast in MY recorded history

Bet they wore embarresed

My most embrassing tactic is about C4 too. I was on the Nod and winning with the Hand destoryed. I went as a flame thrower and charged towards the GDI war factory. There is two flame tank flaming it but the health does not seen to go down. One entrance is heavily mined so I went in the other door. I found six eng 1 hotwire 1 prototype and 2 Havoc guarding and repairing MCT. I droped the C4 right between the eng and starting to flame them because I thought that I will never go out. I got killed by 2 shot and ion cannon hitting me at sametime about 1 sec after I started flaming. I respawned and went to the tunnel as a Nod soldier, when I just reached the war factory and thinking the C4 must be disarmed then a explosion inside the War fact and Boink. Six guys got killed then the war fact got blown up.

What a load of BS! Please tell me how you managed to plant 3 C4's on each guys in less then 30 seconds without being seen by the rocket soldiers?

To actually pull this off as you have claimed you would have needed to plant C4 and refill and plant again, each trip only taking 5 seconds.

Plus you wouls need a few seconds to type your taunt.

Not to mention that you weren't helping your team much since you were wasting time packing on mutliple c4 when 1 each would have done the job.

Not an embarrassing moment for me, but someone out there should be feeling red about it.

Last night playing on Monohan (server) in the volcano map. I bought an Sydney and yuri(don't recall the numbers after his name) was a regular gdi soldier. Both went to nod power plant, planted our allotted 1 timed c-4 each on the mct. And guess what, we BOTH stayed to defend our work. Multiple noddies came in to investigate and we took them out in between yuri and I lighting up the mct with tib rifle and reg rifle (2 timed c-4's ain't enough to take out one mct . After that I had enough to go back buy a hummer and a hotwire. Go directly to airstrip, lay my remote det c-4, place prox mines around inside of door when I notice - my hummer's being stolen by a nod troop - unfortunately he didn't think to check why the vehicle was there as I hadn't placed my prox mines yet. Needless to say I cared less bout the vehicle and continued on. Detted the remote c-4, placed my timed c-4, capped my m8 twice (we can never get on the same side) and typed to all , "I'm in your airstrip - WHHEEEE!!!" After which it promptly blew up and everyone was kicked due to server shutdown Anyway - thanks for the awesome teamwork yuri___ doesn't happen everyday.

You can't put a beacon on any vehicles. If you do so and the vehicle leaves, it won't take the beacon with it. It will leave the beacon exactly where it was placed... 5 feet above the ground. I tried it myself already and here's proof.

Hey, perhaps... he was trying to have fun. Like the movies, some people enjoy overdoing it. I've seen some guys play and go overboard with shooting other guys. They will kill the guy, but still walk up and shoot at the guy while laying down... cuz he's full of rage and is just too d@mn p.o.'ed!

I like hanging out in the Hand of Nod (as gdi), waiting for someone to spawn, then purchase an expensive outfit, then wasting them. They have a fair chance to shoot back, but by the time they figure it out, they've got a couple headshots in them. Since they're higher level, I don't last too long, but I've taken out a fair number of sakuras and mendozas this way.
