Ok...I bought the game, installed it, ran fine. I got the notion to upgrade my drives to improve the graphics a little. After i did that, when you put the cd in, it would come up to the WWconfig box and the detail level would lock at the lowest setting. Previously I was runnig it about mid level in single player. So I unistalled the new drivers and restored my system to the way it was when I first installed Renegade. Still the WWconfig would come up. I unistalled the game and when i tried to reinstall, setup crashes everytime. I've reinstalled Windows, and reinstalled the drivers that it worked with, but it still crashes. Any ideas? Nvidia tnt2 m64....32mb card
p3 800mhz
256 ram
Windows ME  confused
I emailed ww but they just tell me do what I have already told them I did. The cd's are fine...the game has worked before and the autorun comes up.

IF you've reinstalled Windows and its still not working, than that is bizarre. 90\% of PC problems are solved when you reinstall Windows, the other 10\% is solved by a format.

I'm sort of holding off on the format just cause I spent on weekend messing with it to cleam up my harddrive. It not that its hard...it just takes awhile. I wouldn't lose much either because I just formatted like a month and a half ago. Waiting to see what westwoods gonna tell me to do besides what I've already told them I've tried.

Not every time. The game worked fine on my machine, then I reinstalled Windows and everything went down the toilet. First I was not able to install Renegade, because setup froze everytime. Then I installed it manually and now I#ve got heavy graphic errors. I use the same OS and the same components as before, even the same drivers.
