I HAVE NEVER SEEN A GAME WITH SO MANY NEWBIES! I'M AVERAGE AND A AT BEST AND A 56KER AND YET I CAN OFTEN GET 2ND OR 1ST PLACE! Its SAD when you consider that this game is VERY newbie friendly. Heck, even my sister who has never played an FPS before could probly 0wn everyone once she gets used to the controls! And here is some proof that the Renegade community doesn't know jack about teamwork. 85\% of everyone I meet on Renegade is a newbie or total loser. 10\% of everyone I meet is a average skilled lone wolf that doesn't care about the rest of the team. And the remaining 5\% are the REAL players! But then again, I think I know why players play lone wolfs. The ladder system discourages teamwork. If I were to take a flame tank and shred 2 buildings and get 4000 points, I would get only 1000-3000 if someone else in a flame tank tagged along.

I am not a newbie rank 300 just now.. not that the rankings really mean you are good/bad.. just how much time you have to play. The game is quite new. give it some time or, if you want a good game play on servers with NO Noobies plz or somthing like that. I played on one of these servers and loved every second of it. everyone on both sides worked as teams. and we were both pretty much evenly matched. I lost some, won others (although i was mvp*3, whooo) hehe. my point is that the retail game is quite new, give it some time. either that or when air units are released sit up above and shoot all the newbies that is what i plan to do

You should of been there last night on that serve xxxgijoe and Hobbes made. Mad teamwork, and no lone wolves. Best time I ever had playing the game. Then again it was all people who complain about teamwork and such.

Well, PsiTanker, I'm considering buying a headset or microphone and then use Roger Wilco, but I haven't got the full game yet. So I can't play with you (that is if you have the full game.) Is the game worth buying or not??? I'm playing the demo, but I'm not convinced yet.

I'm addicted to playing the game online. The rotation of maps keeps me interested, otherwise there isn't much difference. Don't buy it for the single-player aspect. quote: Originally posted by Dark_Knight: Well, PsiTanker, I'm considering buying a headset or microphone and then use Roger Wilco, but I haven't got the full game yet.
