well if your on nod and have enough get a flame tank and try to make it up to a mammy not only does it take down the mammy's health like mad but it also gives you tons of credits. or for free get a flame thrower and use it on the harvy thats also good for points and cash at the start fo gdi im not too shure what is a good point getter any one else? Many are the ways to wealth, here is some:
Fix buildings whenever you can
wait for harvester load to be processed(not advised as your team mates will get very ticked off)
lay mines in spots you know enemys come past
save your money and be a regular, no cost soldier.
And when all else fails...KILL,KILL,KILL go out and have fun and when you die go out again without upgrading your character, after a while take a gander at your credits and you will be pleasently suprised

Get a Grenadier and attack the harvrester as good as you can, or get a simple Soldier and kill higher Characters with some headshots
